Steam Whistle Brewery is one of those wedding venues that feels so alive with its industrial charm, historic trains nearby, and the hum of the city just outside its doors. But a venue—no matter how great—without people is just a space. Jennifer, Daniel, and their guests filled it with love, laughter, and a kind of energy that made everybody feel like home.
Getting Ready
It all began at the Delta Hotel, just across the street from Steam Whistle, where Jennifer and Daniel got ready surrounded by their closest friends and family. The excitement was contagious—and what a perfect start to their wedding day.
It was one of those hot summer days where we found ourselves constantly checking the skies, hoping the rain would hold off—and lucky for us, it did! Their first look took place in a little alley right beside the brewery. We were so glad to capture it with some greenery in the frame. Having a mix of backgrounds always adds extra texture and depth to a wedding gallery. Their first look was sweet, emotional, and so full of love. Afterward, we wandered around the area for their photo session. The city vibe, the Toronto Railway Museum, and the CN Tower gave us the perfect backdrop for telling their love story.
Wedding Ceremony and Reception
Their wedding ceremony at Steam Whistle was heartfelt and full of joy. We were so happy to capture those beautiful moments and raw emotions for them. One of our favorite things about this venue is how seamlessly it transforms from ceremony to reception. With thoughtful decor and cozy lighting, it felt modern, warm, and totally them.
After cocktail hour, high-energy entrances, and some unforgettable speeches (yes, there were both tears and belly laughs!), guests were treated to something extra special—a gelato bar! On a hot summer evening, it was the perfect way to cool down. And we absolutely loved capturing all the candid moments as Jennifer and Daniel scooped gelato for their guests.
As the sun set and the lights dimmed, the dance floor came alive. There’s no better way to end a wedding than with everyone letting loose, dancing their hearts out, and soaking up every second of celebration.
