Two Rabbis and a Dozen Dinosaurs; A Jewish Wedding in Toronto at the ROM – Royal Ontario Museum.
We were absolutely thrilled when Stephanie and Jessie, both Rabbis, reached out to us about photographing their wedding at the ROM. It’s not every day you get the chance to shoot the wedding of two Rabbis, especially in a place that celebrates human and nature’s incredible achievements.
Even better, we quickly discovered how wonderful Stephanie and Jessie are. Their kindness, joy, and curiosity about life lit up every moment. On their big day, they embraced the adventure, allowing us to explore the ROM and capture amazing shots throughout the building.
The ROM was the perfect backdrop for them, given their shared love for natural and human history.
They chose it to be surrounded by what inspires them and to one day share it with their kids, reflecting on the special memories created there. How incredible is that?
After receiving their favourite exhibit choices, we walked through the museum to scout out locations. The ROM offers endless beauty—from its stunning architecture and dramatic lighting to the Michael Lee-Chin Crystal designed by Daniel Libeskind. Fun fact: Libeskind first sketched the Crystal on napkins during a family wedding at the ROM. Clearly, weddings here spark creativity—just like Stephanie and Jessie’s!
Spending time with them, their family, and friends among art, history, and even dinosaurs, made their wedding unforgettable. It was an experience we’ll treasure for a long time.
We’re beyond happy to have captured so many authentic moments. Like the history preserved in the ROM, these memories will be cherished for generations.
