Samantha and Devon’s Kurtz Orchards wedding was a perfect blend of rustic charm and timeless elegance. The Niagara region isn’t just for wine lovers; it’s also home to some incredible vineyard wedding venues. One of our absolute favorites is Kurtz Orchards in Niagara-on-the-Lake. It has everything couples dream of: beautiful outdoor ceremony spots and stylish, modern reception areas. For Samantha and Devon, it was an obvious choice. Just as we have, they too fell in love with the beauty of Kurtz Orchards Estate. We were lucky enough to capture their special day there, surrounded by loved ones.
What makes Kurtz Orchard Unique Wedding Venue?
Kurtz Orchards is a modern vineyard wedding venue with a stunning outdoor ceremony area. The surrounding greenery creates an intimate and natural feel to a wedding ceremony. The chic and modern reception options provide couples with a stylish and comfortable setting for their celebration. Kurtz Orchards and their staff have a way of making guests feel immediately relaxed in a country atmosphere ready for celebration. You can tell that many people with a clear vision worked tirelessly to make this venue one of the best.
One of the best things about Kurtz Orchards is its natural beauty. The grounds are peaceful and full of photo opportunities, with lighting that always seems to be just right. Whether it’s the soft light of morning or the warm glow of sunset, every moment at Kurtz Orchards feels magical.
Samantha and Devon started their day getting ready on the grounds and a nearby Airbnb. Samantha’s sister reminded us that this was now the third time we are shooting a wedding which she was a part of! It’s so amazing for us to be a part of so many celebrations of love. We are so grateful for the ongoing referrals within this group of friends and family. It really makes us feel like we are friends and not just vendors.
Samantha and Devon’s first look was a magical moment captured in a peach tree grove at Kurtz Orchards. Despite the strong sunlight, we used the shade of the trees to preserve these moments. It felt like the orchard had crafted a secluded hideaway just for them. Another highlight was the bridge, which looked absolutely stunning at sunset. With Samantha and Devon’s reflections dancing on the pond below, creating a picture-perfect scene.
Other memorable areas include the tree swing which just begged to be played with. An outdoor ceremony area is perfect for a ceremony and a cocktail hour. Created between the orchard trees which almost invited the guests to start a game of hide and seek.
Finally, Samantha and Devon hosted their reception inside the Kurtz Market, a space complete with post and beam cathedral ceilings and warm wood decor. It was a beautiful celebration of love shared with their family and friends under the open sky in one of the most picturesque areas of Ontario. Moreover, although there are a number of Niagara on the Lake venues which we gush about regularly we can say with certainty that Kurtz Orchards is one of our very favourites.
