Sarah and Alex are one of those couples who are just meant for each other. Their love story started when they met in university. After a romantic proposal in Mexico, they finally got to celebrate their wedding day with friends and family at The Henley Room.
They got ready at Lovt Studio, which was a great location because it has two separate rooms. One for the bride with a kitchen on a top level and one for the groom. It’s a cozy space where you can also do a first look, which Sarah and Alex chose to do. It was such a sweet moment that really kicked off the day.
For couples looking for a bit of an urban vibe, there’s the option to get a photo permit for The Carpet Factory where Love Studio is located. It’s a great place if you want photo session with that industrial look.
Next, we drove to The Henley Room. The venue had recently been renovated, and it looked amazing. It has so much natural light coming through the large windows, as wedding photographers we just loved it. The Henley Room is located inside the Argonaut Rowing Club right by the lake. A large deck is a perfect place for family and bridal party photos. The outdoor ceremony area gives that peaceful, Muskoka feel – but without having to leave the city. It’s hard to believe you’re just 15 minutes from downtown Toronto.
The Henley Room is also accessible, thanks to a new elevator that makes it easy for older guests or anyone with mobility needs. Inside, the eclectic bar area added a bit of moody charm, giving the whole day a relaxed yet elegant vibe. The staff, Robin and Joe, were fantastic. They were very helpful and made sure everything went smoothly.
Sarah and Alex’s wedding was a beautiful mix of love, laughter, and a great venue that gave them the perfect day. We were so happy to capture all those special moments for them!
