Erin and Devin’s Gladstone House Hotel wedding was one of the final celebrations of our 2025 season and truly one to remember. From the moment we arrived, their warmth and positive energy filled the space. Photographing such kind, joyful people on one of the most meaningful days of their lives is always an honour.
If you’re considering a Gladstone House wedding in Toronto, this day perfectly shows why this venue continues to be a favourite for modern couples.
Getting Ready
Erin and Devin got ready in separate rooms within the hotel. The suites are bright and spacious enough to comfortably accommodate a small bridal party.
While Erin finished hair and makeup in her sun-filled room, Devin and his groomsmen moved to an upper level to relax, play pool, and enjoy some quiet moments before the celebration began. Having everything in one location makes timelines smoother and far less stressful.

First Look & Bride and Groom Session
Erin and Devin chose to have their first look on the balcony at Gladstone House, overlooking Queen Street. It was simple and real, which made it even more meaningful.
Afterward, we moved through the hotel for portraits. One of the best parts of a Gladstone Hotel wedding is how much variety you get without ever leaving the building. We used the staircases for a few classic, romantic shots, stopped in the hallways for something a little moodier, and took advantage of the artistic interiors that give every floor a slightly different feel.
We also spent a few minutes at the café bar for something more relaxed and playful, and then stepped outside onto Queen Street to bring in a bit of that downtown Toronto energy. Since the restaurant space was empty at the time, we were able to capture a few portraits there as well — the lighting and atmosphere felt completely different from the rest of the hotel.
That contrast is what makes this venue so strong for photos. In a short amount of time, you can create a gallery that feels diverse, intentional, and true to the couple.

The Ceremony
The ceremony space featured exposed brick and florals that created a rustic yet elegant atmosphere. Erin’s dress paired beautifully with Devin’s suit, tying everything together in a timeless way.
They chose to exchange personal vows privately after the ceremony, just the two of them. It was intimate, emotional, and incredibly meaningful. During the ceremony itself, they kept things shorter and heartfelt, focusing on the celebration with their guests.

Cocktail Hour & Reception
While Erin and Devin took a few quiet moments together, we photographed candid moments during cocktail hour. It’s always special reconnecting with past couples — we even saw familiar faces from a wedding we photographed earlier in the year.
The reception space felt warm and inviting, filled with candlelight and soft florals. The overall aesthetic was elegant and timeless.

FAQ
What makes Gladstone House stand out?
What makes Gladstone House truly stand out is its art-inspired design and the incredible variety it offers within one building. Each floor has its own distinct mood, from vintage staircases and exposed brick walls to thoughtfully curated interiors that feel creative and refined.
Even during winter weddings, when outdoor options are limited, the hotel provides plenty of beautiful indoor photo opportunities, resulting in a gallery that feels dynamic, intentional, and full of depth.
How much does a Gladstone Hotel wedding cost?
Wedding pricing at Gladstone House can vary from year to year, so it’s always best to reach out to the venue directly for the most up-to-date packages. Gladstone House structures its wedding pricing around:
– A venue rental fee
– A food and beverage (F&B) minimum spend
Gladstone Hotel wedding rates are relatively competitive for Toronto Standards — particularly for couples planning small to mid-sized celebrations who want a unique downtown venue without full ballroom pricing.
Why is Gladstone House so popular?
Gladstone House is so popular because it offers something different from the typical Toronto wedding venue. Its prime Queen Street West location puts you right in the heart of the city, while the interior delivers a unique blend of urban character and understated elegance.
Couples love that it feels stylish and artistic without being overly formal. The pricing is also competitive for Toronto standards, especially for intimate and mid-sized weddings ranging from about 22 guests up to 100 for a seated dinner.
One of the biggest advantages is the incredible variety of photo opportunities throughout the building — meaning you don’t need to travel between locations to create a diverse and beautiful gallery. It’s the perfect choice for couples who want a celebration that feels modern, personal, and full of personality.
What makes Gladstone House Hotel a great wedding venue?
A Gladstone House Hotel is special because the venue feels personal, creative, and full of character rather than traditional or generic. With its exposed brick, historic details, and thoughtfully designed interiors, it offers warmth and texture that elevate both the atmosphere and the photos. Located on vibrant Queen Street West, it blends Toronto energy with a boutique, artistic vibe. The variety of spaces — from staircases and hallways to the balcony and café areas — allows couples to capture a diverse wedding gallery without ever leaving the building. It’s especially well-suited for intimate to mid-sized celebrations where guests can feel connected and part of the experience.
For couples looking for a venue with personality and soul, Gladstone House delivers a setting that feels stylish, memorable, and effortlessly unique.
KIND WORDS
“We couldn’t be happier with our experience working with Norbert & Gosia and Ever After Photographers.
