Weddings in Muskoka are always a lot of fun! We love to celebrate and capture our couples memories close to the nature and showing their adventurrous side. Megan and Mike’s wedding was in the heart of Muskoka! Muskoka Lakes Golf and Country Club in Port Carling was a perfect location to say “I do”. Megan’s getting ready happened at a cottage. There is nothing more Muskokan than a cottage. When she got fully ready, she arrived at the venue by boat! I was looking forward for this moment since we met Megan and Mike and they told us about their wedding plans!
The weather that day was good to us. It was a little bit chilly but this is what you can expect in the September afternoon in Muskoka.
The ceremony was located at the boat house. It was very important to Megan and Mike that they won’t see each other before the ceremony. They wanted to see each other when Megan was walking down the aisle with her parents.
They both got very emotional! Those moments always melt our hearts and we know that these are split seconds which our couples can cherish for years to come.
Megan and Mike made sure to say thank you to everyone who was a part of their beautiful day. They did it in a little bit different way. They wrote a personal note to each and single person! Yes, even to us! The note was placed on the place cards. Those simple touches are amazing. Everyone felt so special because of that. We love couples who look for authentic ways to incorporate a unique and personalized touch for their guests. After all, a wedding is not just for the couple but also for all the many friends and family members who have a chance to celebrate within the created unique moments.
We spent the entire day with these beautiful people and we captured so many moments! It is always a privilege for us that couples trust us and choose us as their wedding photographers!
