The Royal Conservatory of Music is one of those venues in downtown Toronto which in a perfect way connects modern architecture with the classic one. It’s a place where you can feel the music in the air even when nothing is playing. A lot of light coming from the windows creates a space which is both welcoming and very open. Jessica and Chad’s wedding was very modern yet at the same time classical. The Royal Conservatory of Music was just a great place for their wedding day. Elegant reception location filled with a lot of candle light created an amazing warm atmosphere.
Reflective and semitransparent surfaces created additional textures in the images while the high ceilings created depth and grand scale. What also excites us about this great wedding venue are the many levels, stairs and balconies which create numerous vantage points for capturing both candids and unique perspectives on the celebration.
If the venue in itself was not enough, the proximity to the ROM, U of T and the Philosophers Walk added addition choices for photography locations. Running out of backgrounds, textures or perspectives is simply impossible. What a feast for the creative eye.
Jessica and Chad it was amazing to be able to capture your stunning wedding day!
