People in love, fall and the winery. This is already a great scenario for a beautiful wedding. Last day of September we photographed Heather and Jim’s wedding at the Willow Spring Winery in Whitchurch-Stouffville. When we met with Heather and Jim to go over their wedding plans we met at the winery and we felt in love with the place. Yes, we love wine but this wasn’t the main reason. One of the main reasons was that the place is so natural and has a lot of different spots where we could shoot.
Old wine barrels, small still ponds, shade covered bridges and rows and rows of grapes. The possibilities are endless really! We always love exploring such new and unique places. Its what makes being a wedding photographer so much fun for us. That combination between new places and wonderful people full of joy and emotion. We really do have the best job in the world!
The ceremony was outside and we got lucky because it wasn’t raining that day at all. The ceremony was a little bit different than usual because “Oh, the places you will go” a book by Dr. Suess was read during Heather and Jim’s ceremony!
“You’re off to Great Places!
Today is your day!
Your mountain is waiting,
So… get on your way!”
This book fit so perfectly! You could really tell that it meant very much to both Heather and Jim who stood there gazing into each others eyes as sentence by sentence the entire book was read. Hearing the book stirred that adventurous explorer in us also. How beautiful this entire experience really was.
Thank you to Heather and Jim for making us a part of their story.
We are off to great Places! Today is our day! Our Mountains are waiting, so … we go on our way!
