Elora Mill in Ontario is one of these venues where we wanted to photograph a wedding for a long time. First of all, we love Elora. A cozy small town, close to the beautiful gorge where you feel like the time slowed down for a moment and you can relax and enjoy amazing views. Melissa and Michael chose Elora Mill because they fell in love with the location! They wanted to do their entire session at the gorge. We were all for it! Two weeks before the wedding day we scouted the venue and the gorge to get ready for their wedding day! We found some amazing spots and we were eaten by mosquitoes!
Scouting the venue is a really important thing for us! We wrote a little bit more about that in one of our posts where we talk about our workflow.
After seeing the venue and scouting the gorge we knew that we will capture some amazing photos! Of course, it’s never possible without the amazing energy which we get from our couples and their family and friends! Melissa and Michael described their wedding day as authentic and vulnerable. We made sure to capture all the emotions and moments which will bring a lot of memories every time when they take a look at their photos! This is the best thing about what we do! We freeze moments, emotions and can create memories which everyone can cherish and relive for years!
