Laura and Nick are a couple who we met for the first time during their engagement session which happened this December. After dozens of email we finally met them in person. Why so late? For the last few years, they live in Macao which is Asia’s answer to Las Vegas! They are a great adventures couple who travel around the world. We love this kind of people. They remind us that the world is like a book and those who do not travel read only one single page over and over! ⠀
Perhaps this is why we love to travel whenever we can. Ideally we do our best to connect travel and world adventures with our photography. This is when we feel the most alive. It’s a little bit cheesy but it is very true.
For the first part of the engagement session, we met at the Sunnybrook Park which is a great backdrop for winter images. It was pretty slippery that day and the ground was icy so we needed to be very careful with our steps. Monika almost fell down with a camera in her hand. Luckily, Laura was next to her and saved her and the camera! Thank you Laura! We very much appreciate it!
After an hour of walking in the park, talking about travel and all kinds of adventures we decided to warm up a little bit and grab a cup of coffee. We drove to Cafe de Mello Palheta which was an awesome spot to take some pictures in. Great atmosphere and coffee. We couldn’t ask for more. We highly suggest this great, little spot.
We are so lucky that we meet on our way so many great couples to work with! Laura and Nick are getting married in July and we are very fortunate that we can be a part of their Big Day!:)
